First State Brewing Company Voted #1 Best New Brewery In US
Middletown, DE — August 4, 2023 — First State Brewing Company in Middletown, Delaware, has been voted #1 Best New Brewery in the US, as part of the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. Twenty nominees were selected by a panel of industry experts and editors at USA Today and voting was open to the public for four weeks.
While First State Brewing has won several local competitions, this is their first recognition at a national level. They previously won Favorite Brewery in 2021 & 2022 First State Favorites, and Best Brewpub & Best Restaurant in 2022 Best of Delaware.
Last month, Next Glass, parent company to the beer social network known as Untappd, released a report on the Top 25 Fastest Growing Breweries in the US. From 2020 to 2022. First State Brewing saw a whopping 3,191% increase in user check-ins on the app, making them the fastest growing brewery in the country based on check-in growth percentage.
