For our very first brewery collab, we teamed up with our friends at Forgotten Road Ales, hailing from Graham, North Carolina! The brewers tactically designed the recipe as an 8.2% Peach & Tangerine Fruited DDH Hazy DIPA. Use of Citra, Simcoe, & El Dorado hops alongside White Peach, Yellow Peach, Tangerine, & Lactose exploit a base of Local 2-Row, Oats & Wheat, resulting in a truly crushable and unique brew. We think that this collab went just peachy…and tangeriney!

For your approval, we present Finite Words, an IPA featuring Mosaic, Idaho 7, & Centennial hops. Thought-provoking notes of pine, tangerine, & grapefruit glint against a firm & balancing bitterness. And now for a sentence never written before. A micro shrimp flying a helicopter to Applebee’s® and ordering bees because they were all out of apples…well we guess it was never written until just then.

Two short words that describe the day in and day out here at First State: Constant. Mayhem. For this Double Dry Hopped Hazy Double IPA we thought we’d use this as inspiration by flipping the script on our usual go-to hops. Lemondrop, Cashmere, & Motueka hops smash together creating tropical notes of lemon-lime, citrus zest, melon, & stone fruit. All jokes aside, without the dedication of our awesome team…and just a little bit of chaos…we wouldn’t get to create delicious beers for you fine folks as a living.
